Linen Rag Paper is high-quality, fabric-containing paper made from linen rags that have long fibers.

Flax is a bast fiber from the plant Linum usitatissimum, from which linen cloth gets produced. Papers made from flax are super strong, translucent, and excellent for pulp painting when beaten a long time in a Hollander. Flax fiber is also naturally smooth and straight, making it one of the best raw materials for producing paper.
