Cotton Paper is produced from rags that have long fibers. Cotton is known to have one of the rugged fibers, and hence, the resultant paper is highly durable, making it more resistant to fading, discoloration, or deterioration than paper made from wood pulp.

Being among the top 3 exporters of garments globally, India has a large number of factories producing cotton clothing. Hence, the supply of raw materials for our paper is abundant. The paper gets its color from cotton rag color, and hence, no chemical dyes are required to make colorful paper.

Production Process- The rags are shredded into small bits and added to the Hollander beater for pulping. Cotton pulp is then poured onto a paper mold to form sheets of A1 Size. The following process involves lifting the mold and laying the sheets. When a pile of sheets is ready, the sheets pass through Roller and conveyor-based machinery to drain out excess water. The following process involves air-drying the sheets. Dry papers are then cold-pressed between zinc sheets to make them smooth.
