One of the primary purposes of the cultivation of lemongrass is for the extraction of oil. Once the oil gets extracted from grass, the residue is of no use and is generally discarded/burned. This activity contributes to landfills/pollution. We upcycle this waste to create paper.

Lemongrass is a perennial crop which means it grows all year round. The cultivation uses fewer resources per hectare and offers more yield per hectare than trees used to make wood pulp paper.
